We take both our dogs to Morningside. Dr. Westendorf is a very kind and gentle Vet and has a great 'bedside manor' with our dogs. Recently both dogs developed an aggressive bacterial infection in their paws. Dr. Westendorf went out of his way to ensure the dogs were looked after and well cared for. He called us after hours to update us on lab results and came in on his day off to examine the dogs. Just had the most terrible experience here at Morningside Animal Hospital.. Waited over 45 min for my appointment which was routine check up, and shots. My appointment was at 4:20, my dog and I left at 5:10. This would be totally fine if they called me or told when i had arrived that they were running that significantly late, instead the receptionist kept telling me "don't worry you're next" "just a little longer" and would hid in back away from the overcrowded waiting area. We started to bring our dog here but we found that they were very expensive and because our dog was dying from cancer we had hoped to have a little bit more compassion towards her and us from the veterinarians and their staff. This did not happen at any time. We gave this Clinic 3 months and they just couldn't get it right. I'm not saying that this clinic isn't right for anyone else it just wasn't right for us and our dog :-(

Been really good so far. Little bit of a wait for appointments but care is super, caring, thorough.
