No on site parking, unsafe streets at night, and the overall attitude here is that you, the customer, are doing them a favor and staying there. Completely unwelcoming. Don’t stay here. Book anywhere else, even another town over even, but don’t book here.
A great refuge in Downton Albany. Comfortable beds. I had a large room with kitchen and living area. It was quiet, warm and cozy. Friendly staff. A great alternative to a hotel. Would be great for a long term stay. Lots of details like power strips everywhere, robes, and other amenities. They accommodated a few special needs and Were friendly and attentive. A great place to land as a weary traveller.
I stayed in Albany for a NY state government related event and was happy to find the Morgan State House Inn. Gorgeous old townhouse charm on a great park, near a fun section of bars and coffee shops. I will stay at Morgan State House Inn every single time I go to Albany. The rooms were clean and charming, and the service was helpful. Great decision!
Morgan State House inn was pretty good!! I just wish they would have a game room!!
