Terrible online billing system. Fails to draft payment then you get a shutoff notice with a late fee because their system failed to draft the payment. Vague explanation of how you must have failed to click a box or something, then they keep the late fee. If this was a private sector business they’d be out of business by now, but it’s a city-run monopoly with a who cares attitude.
Despite being an existing customer in good standing, Morgan Hill Water Service (run by the City) charged us $59 to expedite the start of our water service even though husband undergoing chemotherapy. Even made us come down to the City to sign up. Shameful and disheartening. Offer no online option to sign up for water service. Antiquated.
