I called to make an appointment with Dr.Bedir Akbar.On his website it says he accepts Medicare and Medicaid. I told the receptionist I wanted to make an appointment with him.She asked what kind of insurance I had,I told her Medicare and Medicaid. When Medicaid was said,well I couldn't see him ,according to her Dr.Bedir doesn't take Medicaid. I made an appointment with her. I went to her because I was told I had gallstones, she did a colonoscopy and an upper GI.. she had me do a couple tests one was an ultrasound ,the lady (ultrasound technician) told me she could see gallstones, when I was on the operating table two seconds away from falling asleep she (the doctor)asked me if I had the test done, I was confused because they just gave me drugs to sleep and told her no, my brain was confused from the drugs...
