Wast sent as a referral from my primary physician. The receptionist took my phone number two times and I never received a call back from either call, both times said she would call back after 4pm to schedule an appointment. Never heard from her either time, guess they were to busy and don't need new patients! Went to the Florida Spine Institute and my appointment was scheduled on first telephone call and everyone was very professional, most likely a blessing in disguise.

First post ever but thought it was important to set the record straight. I have severe spinal stenosis and received spinal fusion from Dr. Moreno several years ago. Due to the nature of my injury, I have gone back almost yearly for additional procedures. Dr. Moreno is not only an outstanding Orthopedic surgeon but he also always a compassionate person. My suggestion is if you want someone to play the violin go see a violinist but if you want an outstanding orthopedic surgeon go see Dr. Moreno.

I disagree that Dr Moreno is not a compassionate person. He has done two back surgeries on me and has been absolutely nothing but excellent. I would trust no other Doctor in the Tampa Bay Area with my spine care. I have had very good results on both of my surgeries.

Dr. Morneo is not a compassionate person. He walked out during my consultation with him. Don't go here. Go to Florida Spine instead.
