I just called from the highway. They are so accomodating.
I brought my very old car to Morano Brothers because I was planning a long road trip and wanted to make sure it was roadworthy. Initially, they told me it looked like it would need major repairs — understandable, given the age of the car. Do NOT give these people any of your money. After a car crash last year, I spoke to them about bringing the car to them for an assessment and repairs. The guy I spoke to was rude and arrogant. I kept trying to explain the situation to him, but he would not listen. He insisted the car had been totalled but in fact it had not. In the end we decided not to go with them, and we are very grateful for that. Very rude. They also are just as likely to break your car as fix it. If they do damage it, they will ask you to pay for it. Save yourself time and money and go elsewhere.
Hands down the WORST experience I've had at an auto shop. Brought my car in for an electrical problem and they cut a wire without asking me beforehand. This created another issue, which they said they could fix for around $1500 with no guarantee that it would fix my problem. I obviously passed given they created the issue. The Toyota mechanic I went to afterwards said what they did made no sense and they shouldn't have cut the wire without asking me.
