Go Slow - they're not quite there yet We loved Moran Vista when our parents first moved there - it has the feel of a nice hotel with very impressive amenities. But surprisingly we've found that the movie theater, billiards room, fitness room, etc are seldom used; and the halls are usually empty and quiet. The staff are extremely friendly and for the most part well-intentioned, but clearly disorganized. We've learned that the entire staff, except the marketing director Crystal (who is wonderful), is new since June 2012. It's ... read more
NAC I am required to report abuse and neglect. I have yet to visit this place without having to make a report. I have work in healthcare for 15+ year and I wish the state would shut down places like this.
Not impressed As a healthcare provided interfacing with Moran Vista I am not impressed with the care given the residents there. Consistently unpleasant interactions with the staff, unprofessional, undertrained staff, residents have a high rate of falls, indicating poor quality care. Their website claims there is RN coordinator, I have never dealt directly with anyone but poorly trained med techs and an LPN who seems to be the real coordinator. This facility was formerly owned by Dr. Shanewise, a local Spokane orthopedic surg... read more
Dont Bother. Moran Vista has that outside sparkle and looks pretty polished inside as well, but deep down its a disorganized mess. They try really hard to cover it up but the longer you're there the more you see the holes in leadership. They seem to have a lot of turnover in the caregivers, and I can see why. They're understaffed and it burns out great caregivers and they leave. The caregivers are honestly the most helpful and friendly of all the staff members compared to the some of the Resident Care Coordinators at Moran V... read more
