I asked *May for a chocolate brown color. She did explain beforehand that the roots could process differently, but we intentionally chose a few shades darker than what I originally wanted to minimize that risk. She also mentioned that she normally uses a darker formula on the roots. Despite that, my roots came out noticeably lighter and warmer than the rest of my hair. DO NOT GET A LAYERED CUT FROM MOE Terrible experience with Moe. I regret not checking the reviews before my appointment. This is definitely not my first time getting a layered haircut, but this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. As mentioned in another review, Moe did a terrible job cutting my layers—they were nowhere close to what I showed her as a reference.
