Gorgeous scenery and the guides were friendly and helpful. It was neat to learn the history of moose pass. It’s usually a 2 seater kayak unless you request otherwise. The way out was great but the way back was difficult paddling against the current. Not their fault but at the end I was frustrated and just done. Bring lots of patience with you. Overall a good experience.
Nice people, easy check in and out. Peaceful day on the water surrounded by the beautiful mountains.
Es war grossartig, super Kajak Tour im Trail Lake, danach eine Wanderung durch Bärengebiet zum Grant Lake. Hier konnten wir uns gemütlich in der Jurte einrichten, danach nochmals eine Kajak Tour im Grant Lake. Wunderschön, da man alleine ist. Die Gastfreundschaft von Jen und JD war super, auch die Vor- und Zubereitung der Lunch, Apero, Dinner und das morgentliche Frückstück - einfach awesome!!! Können es wärmstens weiterempfehlen
We did the Grant Lake Kayak and Hike Tour with Jen and Ruby as our guides. Now this is Alaska.. Just us, Jen and Ruby, beautiful mountains and an off the beaten path mountain lake. This was the first day of relaxation with no people or gift shops. We thought we were the only people in Alaska that day. We began with a nice paddle to the “Original” Iditarod sled dog trail which we hiked to our back country lake where more kayaks were waiting. Jen took care of us right from the start of the day. It ended up being a rainy day but she made sure to lend us all the gear we needed to stay warm and dry for our adventure. Jen was also very knowledgeable about the local history and wildlife which we would often stop and talk about along the river or even on the hike. I would recommend this adventure to anyone wanting the real Alaskan experience.
