Took my daughter and her friend for a birthday trail ride. Both girls ride frequently, but don’t get to ride in the hills very often so they were excited for this. We did the Riders Half Day, which is for experienced riders. Most of the trail was in the forest, with some great views off the ridges. I enjoyed the rolling landscape, the girls liked the opportunities to lope in the forest. Horses were well matched to riders and very well mannered. Our guide, Anna was top notch. Moose Mountain Adventures is a quality operation!
I had a wonderful experience with Moose Mountain Horseback adventures. I took my niece for her 9th birthday and we had a great time! The horses were friendly, the property was gorgeous, the dogs was super cute. I def recommend.

The horses were awesome, especially the one I rode, Socks. Katie our guide was kind, knowledgeable and just a delight to be around. I would highly recommend this company. I felt looked after and enjoyed myself all day. Thank you so much for a wonderful day
We chose a 2-hour trail ride Location — just 40 minutes from Calgary. Before the ride, there’s a short instruction: how to get on, guide, stop, and move with the horse. The horses are calm and walk only at a steady pace — perfect even for beginners. ⏳ Two hours is more than enough to enjoy the scenery and the atmosphere. It’s not about speed, it’s about peace, nature, and little adventures you’ll always remember. It’s was amazing, I wona come back again!
