Moore's Barbecue My dad's favorite place for BBQ in New Bern. He loves the place and the friendly staff. I think the BBQ is good as well. My mom really likes their fried fish. Give it a try!
Not bad ... I like North Carolina BBq, so I normally try out a lot of places. Three weeks ago while in New Bern for an appointment I decided to try Moore's BBQ. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good enough that when I go back to New Bern I would be rushing back there. The prices were good and the service was good.
Mrs. Moores. Has the best Barbecue in town, perhaps Eastern NC. It does come with a vinegar sauce on it. That is how it is done in this part of the state. Previous post mentioned not enough bbq chicken sauce. Just ask, they will give you more. Seafood is great as well as everything else.
More's Barbecue This place servex fried chicken, barbeque chicken, barbeque, excellent cole slaw, great hushpuppies, oysters, fish, shrimp by sandwich or plates plus quart and pint portions.
Great BBQ!! Moore's Barbecue is a great example of true Eastern Carolina style barbecue with it's vinegar-based sauce. The hush puppies are terrific, as are the fried oysters and ribs. The restaurant decor itself could use some work, but that's true of all good barbecue places.
