I recently needed a place to continue to recover after leaving hospital care and not feeling quite up to going home alone. This place had good reviews, could continue my o.t. and p.t. services and could give me a private room and bath. The staff there was very accomodating and even furnished a room for me. Though I was only there for about 4 weeks, the staff was friendly, managed my meds, and invited me to join their activities. We visited the Moorhead Place because we were looking for a place for our mother. She needs 24/7 care. The staff--Beth, Sherry, Alyesha met with us and were so very kind and informative. We loved the place...so clean, so welcoming and so very well maintained. We thought it would be perfect for Mom. However, after assessment, the staff indicated that she needed placed in a Memory Care Unit elsewhere since Moorehead Place does not have a Memory Care Unit. We were so sad.
