Very disappointed with our ER experience. We are not from this area. My son was in severe pain due to an emergency dental procedure and clearly distressed, but the doctor was dismissive and lacked compassion. When I called to advocate for him, I was told he was an adult and didn’t need my involvement, and his pain was not taken seriously. No patient should be treated this way. We felt ignored and disrespected during a very difficult time. I hope the hospital works on improving patient care and communication.

From the moment we arrived at the ER, the staff was compassionate, thorough, and caring. They were able to provide my daughter with a diagnosis that had been misdiagnosed for over a year. I am very impressed with this hospital!

When my nephew was younger he fell at the park and hurt his arm. We took him to the ER, they said he was fine and sent us home. He kept complaining about it hurting so we went to the hospital in dalhart and found out it was broken. Last year I had to go to the ER three times for abdominal pain before they sent me to have a sonogram and see a specialist, I found out I needed my gallbladder removed.
