A great day out for the family to learn the history of the mineral processing operations here years ago.
Train ride was fantastic, driver was very friendly and have a great sense of humour. It was very interesting hearing about the copper mine
I was going to take the train with my two kids. But when I came to purchase tiickets I was greeted by a man with a serious attitude problem. Who told me point blank the next rain was 1pm. Not even a smile or any sort of customer service. Just abrupt and horrid attitude. So I decided not to take the train and spend my money elsewhere.
This was hands down the worst customer service we’ve encountered anywhere on our travels across Australia. We walked up to the ticket office, hoping to book, and were met by a man behind the counter who didn’t even bother to smile or greet us. Without any friendliness or effort to help, he just said flatly, “No, we’re full… next one’s at 1 pm.” No apology, no explanation, no suggestion of alternatives — just complete indifference.
