This is a fantastic store if you are a tea aficionado. They have a huge variety, with specialty teas that provide health benefits... everything from muscle aches to helping reduce flatulence!! Yes... seriously!! It's worth a trip to Ocracoke Island to visit this place.
What a hidden gem! I'm so glad I found this quaint little tea shop. It has the largest assortment of loose teas and is stocked with all kinds of unique treasures. I purchased several teas on my first visit and even had them brew me a cup to go. I loved all of my choices, and I just went online and ordered more! I highly recommend this tea shop to anyone who likes to find unique blends.
Weird behaviour by female shop assistant. Perhaps a side of Ocracoke islanders we dont understand? Anyhow, we were not given a chance to make a purchase, unfortunately. Business owners must remember to try and have pleasant behavior at all times. Because obviously, the business depends on customers (like us).
Read about the story of the place and good reviews so we adjusted our plans, just to be able to accommodate the 9 o clock opening time of the shop. We were so excited and keen to visit and purchase stuff. I had a list prepped. We were at the door 6 mins past 9 and wasnt sure if the place was open, so tried checking the door.
