I’ve been to A LOT of Korean restaurants across New York and New Jersey, and as someone who goes back to Korea about once a year, I’ve kind of accepted that Korean food here will always leave me missing that extra 10%. i had high expectations after hearing that this place is run by jua’s chef but i left slightly disappointed by the food. the yukhoe and galbi-jjim were good, but the uni sotbap was too rich. the restaurant itself is very beautiful but i wouldn’t go back :(

아마도 뉴욕 최애 모던 한식집. 갈비찜, 솥밥, 평양냉면, 특색있는 한식 디저트까지 모두 좋았고 여러번 방문했을때도 퀄리티가 유지되었습니다. 공간도 좋고 여러가지로 신경 쓴 티가 나는 레스토랑.

I ordered the Pyongyang cold noodle as a main, and was sorely disappointed. The amount of meat in the soup (2 pieces, which seemed paper thin, and about 1.5in in length) for a ~$20 entree is ridiculous. It felt like they were rationing the portions.
