Excellent veterinary office with a truly compassionate and attentive team. The staff was incredibly kind and took wonderful care of my pup, but Dr. Halsey was especially outstanding. After my previous vet dismissed my concerns about my dog’s behavior changes and told me I was being dramatic, a friend referred me to Dr. Halsey and I am so grateful. I had a very disappointing experience at this vet office and would strongly caution others before bringing their pets here, especially if you have a working dog breed. During our visit with Dr. Hackett, I felt like I was unnecessarily alarmed and pushed toward additional testing that turned out to be completely unnecessary. I brought in my two dogs, including my Border Collie, whose heart rate Dr. Hackett immediately treated as a serious concern. I’m really impressed with Moonlight Vet Center! My dog Bailey got an eye ulcer and was in a lot of pain, and Dr. Soares and Dr. Hackett were both so helpful. They were really kind and made sure Bailey was comfortable. I really appreciated how much they cared and would definitely recommend them.
We are new to the area, and prioritized finding a vet. My dog is big and anxious, and it's important that she has a vet who understands dogs and behavior. (As an early bonus, we were able to schedule our visit same week, and they proactively reached out to our previous vet to get all of her records prior to her appointment.) Wonderful experience! Met with Dr. Soares, who was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I felt she wasn't trying to upsell me anything I didn't need. The rest of the team I met was also incredibly professional and kind. I was able to be seen within a few hours of calling for a wellness check up and was very glad to have found the place! I would absolutely recommend Moonlight to other people in need of a new vet.
