I am so glad I switched to moonlight veterinary. I made the move about a year and a half ago and couldn’t be more pleased. The staff is kind, compassionate, and patient with the pups. Love the entire Moonlight staff! I have a senior lab and a mini doodle with allergies so vet visits are pretty frequent for us. The staff here are very friendly, patient, and kind to the dogs.
Our puppy was 15 years young when he passed, and everyone at the clinic did everything they could to give him more time with us. During our visits, I saw firsthand how deeply they care for every animal. They take the time to truly understand what's going on and treat each pet with incredible compassion and attention. We love moonlight! They helped us navigate through a tough year with our senior dog, offering compassion and guidance for the best medical treatment. We really feel like we got more time with him because of the wonderful care we received.
Unfortunately I had the same experience as the other 1 star review for Dr Hackett. Fear and alarm were used to push for high-priced additional testing. When I refused this unnecessary testing, they denied refills on Chewy for my senior dog’s long-standing prescriptions. Even though it’s a 40 minute drive, I have taken my sweet girl back to our original vet in Ocean Beach - where they confirmed that my dog’s lab results were misinterpreted by Dr Hackett.
