MoonDance Painting had painted several houses in my Oakland neighborhood and I had actually noticed the difference between their work and the work of other painters. They somehow improved the definition of the houses rather than just coloring them. As I expected, MoonDance did a fabulous job with my house. The preparation was thorough and the painters were respectful of my property and that of my neighbors. I recently used MoonDance Painting to repaint our interior walls. While the walls ultimately look great and the price was fair, I can’t fully recommend them. One of the biggest disappointments was the amount of paint that ended up on our wood floors — I found paint specks everywhere; most came off, but not all. Communication was also a bit bumpy: they had to come back to paint a missed door and accidentally painted a kitchen cabinet we had specifically excluded. MoonDance Painting provided superior service to me: in developing a quotation; arriving at an acceptable contract; advising on paint technology for specific applications; preparing and repairing the various surfaces to be painted; applying paint, keeping a clean worksite, and correcting minor errors.
