Mooncusser is a fine dining restaurant that focuses on seasonal tasting menus with a strong emphasis on seafood and creative New England-inspired dishes. The space has a more relaxed approach to fine dining, with a cozy atmosphere that feels upscale without being overly formal. Overall, everything was good, but nothing really stood out as particularly memorable. The ingredients were solid and the service was pleasant, though I found some of the dishes lacked the technique, refinement, and execution needed to elevate the experience. A decent meal, but not one that left a lasting impression or made me eager to return.

We stopped around 5pm and ate in the Moon Bar downstairs. I haven't done the tasting menu upstairs but I honestly don't care for the tasting menu concept; I would rather have a set meal. We ordered the tuna crudo, the big green salad, and the lamb quesadilla. All were really good and the portions were surprisingly big for the price. Had two of the specialty cocktails, The Last Aztec and the Frequent Flyer, and both were great. Overall a 5/5.

A really well done fine dining experience in Boston. The tasting menu is great value for the quality of food and the wine pairing was really thoughtful as well. Wonderful friendly staff and some great recommendations for the second leg of our trip in Maine. Highly recommend!
