This is not a boutique hotel, it’s an airbnb with a view. We went for our one year wedding anniversary and I really wanted to splurge for my husband but I’m a bit disappointed with our experience overall. The room was nice enough but it feels like everything was done as cheaply as possible. For example, the curtains didn’t fit the windows so sun comes through in the morning, the single ply toilet paper absolutely killed me, we used one container of bubble bath and they never replaced it, the conditioner dispenser didn’t work... read more
First of all, this place has amazing potential. The view of the inlet and the layout with the loft is awesome, the decor is nice and cozy - it has all the components to make for a fantastic getaway. Communication at time of confirmation and prior to check-in was clear and professional. Unfortunately, some things that matter just as much were very disappointing. Cleanliness was a major issue. Never again and a waste of $1600.00
DO NOT STAY HERE - One of the bed sheets had smears of makeup on it (foundation). - In the kitchen the floor was dirty, it looked like bits of dog food. - The tub had hair and dirt in it. - When I reached out to customer service they didn’t respond via email and they didn’t pick up the phone. - TV didn’t work. - Dust and grime everywhere - Trash, empty cans, old furniture and discarded clothes litter the property - The restaurant beside the lodge is overpriced and gross It was not something in control of the lodge but in the... read more
SCAM ALERT NO REFUND PROVIDED Nice on the outside, gross on the inside. We stayed at the moon water lodge on Aug.6th for the last day of our trip to the island. We were excited to stay here for the views. When arriving the exterior looked nice and the view was great.
