We were very impressed by the ample amount of selections available to us. The outdoor plants were majority of what they had available, giant to small fruit trees, all kinds of different cactus, and far more than I can name or know of, though they have everything professionally labeled and easy to read. The staff is very professional and easy to talk to, with tons of information for each plant / pot we looked at. Definitely a great spot for outdoor gardening supplies and plants
I was helped by Kelly Mace at Moon Valley Nursery today, and he was wonderful. He was kind, patient, and listened to all my ideas about my memorial garden for my dearly departed husband, John. He helped me get a discount and guided me through my choices. I went in looking for a Myrtle crepe and ended up with a Purple plum, and I couldn’t have done it without him. I first came here a few weeks ago when I got tired of looking at the dead tree in the front yard of my new house and decided it was time to finally replace it, since Landsea refused to replace all the dead trees in everyone's front yard. I had the best interaction with absolutely no pressure to buy from the employee who assisted me. Devin was polite and professional, and the whole process of selecting trees was a breeze. Bought a potted pigmy date palm from here a few weeks ago and staff mentioned to water the plant every other day which I did. Plant died from root rot within a few weeks from the recommendations that they suggested. Staff did not give me a refund and were rude when I came back. Would not recommend buying anything from moon valley nurseries. Never buying anything again from moon valley nurseries.
Sales rep was helpful. Showed us a lot of options we didn’t know about and found us a great looking tree in our budget. I stall crew was phenomenal. They were prompt and efficient and did a really great job.
