If you want to actually have a job you paid for completed, look elsewhere. Moon Valley is TERRIBLE with communication, coordination, and following through on outstanding issues. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!! We went with them for removing old plants from our front yard and installing new ones. Had a great experience here. Steph is our new plant guru. We are new to desert life and she was very knowledgeable and helpful in picking out all plants.
We met Steph Lemrise, then at 7th street in sales, at the garden and lawn show last fall. Told her what we needed to do. She listened and recommended the perfect plants to solve our screening needs. Now she manages at Tatum and we have sent friends to work with her - great listener, made us a great deal and works hard to back up her service. We will be back for the next phase. Steph rocks.
Our consultant recommended ficus nitida columns with the promise that we would have low maintenance evergreen privacy hedge. We purchased 20 6 foot tall trees. They started out lush and stunning. They burned to the ground from frost. As did the Giant Bird of Paradise sold to us. Leaves fried and fell off and the branches all died. All that time and money not only purchasing them but water and fertilizer.
