Moon Valley Nursey has absolutely horrible customer service and is taking advantage of their customers. I bought a tree from them on 4/24. I went there to buy a small cheap tree and they kept pressuring me to get a $600 tree. Eventually the guy offered it to me for $400, which I accepted against my better judgment. He asked if I wanted to pay a $150 fee for them to deliver and plant it or if i wanted to plant it myself. Well I said I'd plant it myself to save money. NOT ONCE WAS A WARRANTY EVER MENTIONED! Our consultant recommended ficus nitida columns with the promise that we would have low maintenance evergreen privacy hedge. We purchased 20 6 foot tall trees. They started out lush and stunning. They burned to the ground from frost. As did the Giant Bird of Paradise sold to us. Leaves fried and fell off and the branches all died. All that time and money not only purchasing them but water and fertilizer.
