The service here is always exceptional and the food is amazing. I love coming here every summer, and Mookie's is a tradition for me.

Satisfied! Finally a decent BBQ place around DC area. Beans cooked in house, not can food like most bbq places around here. FYI grew up down south and miss some of those bbq restaurants.
The food was great and the sampler platter was more than enough for 2 people.
My wife, daughter and I went on a Sunday evening, looking for something new. We usually go to Mission BBQ, mainly because it's close, or Monk's, because it's "known." We sat outside after just a couple of minutes wait, and someone came reasonably quickly to take our drink order. My wife got a smoked turkey sandwich with Mac & Cheese, my daughter got a brisket sandwich with beans, and i got burnt ends with salad and beans. Everything came out in a decent amount of time.
