I just moved into the area and back to the states after living in Europe for the past four years. One of the most important things for me is finding a good barber and today I did just that. Mr Mookie is not just a good barber, he is welcoming, engaging and well connected to the/his community. Very open and old school in his approach to barbering, meaning you will get more than a haircut when you sit with him. Thank you brotha for my “first day of work haircut” and I’ll be in touch and come back to see you soon.

The place felt more like a cozy home than a barbershop. Mr. Mookie greeted me warmly, took his time, listened to what I wanted, and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the cut.
