Stumbled on this place on a walk on the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Fantastic brisket. Great sauces. This is a family run place and the owner’s a great man. So passionate and knowledgeable about his craft. This is a business you wanna support.
I jumped into this food face first so there were no pictures worth posting! I had the brisket sandwich, Rosalee’s Mac n Cheese, and the cucumber salad (which I’m saving for later). The brisket was so tender and full of flavor—I was embarrassed by how I was scarfing it down. And they had the nerve to have a Kansas City and a Memphis (my hometown) sauce!!! The audacity! Food was absolutely delicious! I got the ribs and Mac it was super delicious and the owner was super kind! I love the family dynamic lovely family Only complaint is I was told they didn’t accept cash which was fine but later came to the realization that the cashier was probably lying because she told me the final price but when she flipped the screen it was more than what she said, I saw she gave herself a tip without my knowledge which I see as not ok BUT other than that place was great :)
