After making the initial booking for the Moogie POD, the communication from the owners was very good and detailed regarding location and access. The accommodation was very well equipped and appointed for a couple. The location was excellent with a good view of the lake and surrounding mountains. The gravel track to the Pod was quite rutted initially so in a car you would need to drive slowly and carefully. Also be careful having a shower as the drain clears slowly and it can be slippery. Had an awesome weekend at MoogiePod. Tara and Ian have thought about all the little touches that delight and the Pod was warm, cosy, clean and well-equipped with all the utensils etc you need. We were able to just check in and relax.
The landlord’s super chill. The place is straight-up romantic—totally in touch with nature and away from the city hustle. At night, you can just kick back in the yard, roast some marshmallows by the fire, and catch shooting stars. Such a vibe! I’d definitely come back here again.
Everything in the Pod was so thoughtful and lovely. Has everything you need for a couple's getaway. Loads of birds that come really close to the Pod and large windows for undisturbed observing. We even had a koala right behind the Pod. Would love to stay again. The location was great.
