The US Tax Compliance team at Moodys Private Client recently assisted me in filing my US tax returns. I was so pleased with the process and how easy they made everything! They were highly organized and provided clear instructions every step of the way. They promptly answered my questions and took the time to talk with me on the phone when email wouldn't quite do. Alex and his team helped us renounce our US citizenship from New Zealand. We were tax compliant so the main issue was to avoid punitive exit taxes within the rules. Moody's helped us sort this out, file all the documents, prepare for the interview and complete the process. Excellent through and through. Super-efficient, responsive and professional - and, as a bonus, pleasant. Alex and his staff made it as easy as they could have, by being organized, thorough, and helpful. At one point, we had a technical issue with the requirements; we reached out to Alex's colleague and it was done for us quickly. Our process went as smoothly as it could possibly have gone, and now we're free. It's a considerable sum but was worth the expense.
Working with Alex and his incredibly knowledgeable team at Moody's has made the complex and arduous process of relinquishing my green card, a success.
