Places like Moodus Mud give the area all kinds of character. The staff are very sweet and the owners love what they do. And of course the coffee is what you’ve been missing. They roast right in house. I liked it so much I bought a bag to bring home.
Whenever I travel I hope to find a small, high quality coffee shop and this was perfect! Visiting some non-coffee drinking family members in this area left me in a pinch but picking up this fresh roasted bag of deliciousness did the trick. They were very friendly too and it’s clear they have very high standards in all aspects of the process.

Fantastic little coffee shop in the local area. You mist try the empanadas! Delicious. All of the coffees are perfect.
