This place is great. It's a classic motel. There are no extra amenities. You get a clean bed and a clean bathroom. That's it. The price is right for what you're getting. Our bed was firm, not saggy. The bathroom worked, no leaky faucets or quirky valves. The heating and cooling system quietly did its job There's no breakfast, but there are plenty of dining options within a half mile. Our front desk clerk was pleasant and efficient.

A very modest, but very friendly and centrally located small motel near good hikes, and all the area's sights and shopping. Just five minutes from the charming Great Barrington main street and 10 minutes from the historic Stockbridge area. We stayed a night to see a show at Tanglewood (also very close) and would recommend this spot for anyone needing a night or two in town. Clean bathroom with great hot water and shower pressure, comfortable and cozy bed. Quiet for a restful sleep, but close to a lot to do.
