If you’re in the SCV and not getting your fade from Al, you’re doing it wrong. The man is a Samurai Ninja absolutely covered in tat-ties but don’t let the size fool you — he’s out here delivering the cleanest fades in the SCV like it’s a form of art. I found Monty’s barbershop through an app called TheCut. I had booked an appointment with the a barber who had more ink on him than a skate park in Venice Beach. Anyway, I had arrived earlier than my appointment and there was a woman there that was complaining about the law enforcement items on the wall the whole time like a Karen. Starting going here for my son’s haircuts. But the Asian person in the front acts like us customers have to kiss his … he sits there just hanging shooting the …. With his cop friends all while customers just sit there. I think he’s dream of being a police officer never matured. The only cool lady was an older Hispanic lady and the younger Hispanic girl. If you wanna sit for 1 hour while homeboy hangs with his boys, hit this place up.
Oscar does really good job on my boys haircut. My oldest was having hard time getting comfortable with getting his hair cut that way he wanted and Oscar give him advice and show him pictures my boy was so happy how his haircut end up just the way my son wanted. Oscar is very friendly and brings conversation with both of boys. He keeps our appointment always on time and he take his time with each of my boys. The shop is clean and comfortable to sit enjoying hearing their stories of every barber. All barbers are very talented.... read more
