My father moved to Montrose care home in October last year, he was welcomed into the home after 2 hard months in hospital, following a fall and fracturing his hip. at this time he couldn't walk and was wheelchair bound, even after hospital staff tryed to get him back on his feet. the staff always greeted me and my daughter with a warm welcome and the home was always spotlessly clean. We recently visited to consider this place for my father on standing outside I was put off , curtains hanging from rails shabby building etc on being treated at the door the overbearing smell was awful then we were shown to the available room which was disgusting I don’t know how they’re getting away with it !
