MBco located by the check-in counter b4 you go through security is quite possibly some of the best airport food I've had. Moderately priced but delicious and nicely presented. Try chicken brie wrap.
Don't have more than one lighter! Security is not very nice, though I understand it's their job not to be :)
If your staying at a hotel, I highly recommend using the 747 Shuttle Bus Service from the airport. It's only $8 and much cheaper than a cab.
Two awesome things: free wifi in the airport & the 747 express bus that for 8 CAD you do Airport to Lionel-Groulx Metro Station and vice-versa.
