Been to a lot of doctors in my life and I generally have good experiences with them for my various ailments. This guy has a chip on his shoulder. He won't prescribe medication I was already prescribed from my previous doctors in my past. Tells me since I'm unemployed I don't need the ADHD medication I previously had from my previous doctors ! He is dismissive. It all boils down to that the guy is a dick & he knows it. I think he likes being one.
Also got fired for self advocacy. He doesn't seem to like informed patients who do their homework and have knowledge about their condition.
Several patients are wondering, why Dr. Montoya, left. Is he somewhere else?? I think he and staff, are wonderful.
Dr. Paul Montoya is the BEST doctor I have seen in my 40 years as a Florida resident. I was disappointed to hear that Dr. Montoya is no longer with First Physicians Group. I hope Dr. Montoya remains in the Sarasota-Bradenton area.
