I am beyond grateful for the staff at Monticello vet. I’ve been to a few other vets around the Green county area and I can’t express enough how Monticello vet is the best choice for your animals care. I wish I had known about them before I had to take my sweet girl, my cat, to take her last breath there. They didn’t know me, but they treated me like family. Daniell has cared for all my kitties since moving here 26 years ago. Compassionate, knowlegeable with alternatives, great in explaining to Pet Parents. I would highly reccomend her.
They told me that my cat would most likely not make it if she did a spay due to the anesthesia because she has a bad heart murmur. She described it as a 5/6 heart murmur so she recommended an eco on her heart which would cost $500. So we decided to get a second opinion at a different vet, this vet told us the heart murmur was nothing bad and described it as a 1/6. So we did the spay and eco with the other vet for less than what the eco alone would have costed at Monticello vet.
