I’m in love with my new door. I love working with Monticello Cabinets & Doors. When I made the first phone call, a real human answered the phone. It was the owner’s son, Christian and he could not have been nicer or more helpful. I went to the actual shop and saw how they resourced raw materials to make the doors. I received updates often when they started my door from two very large pieces of wood. I requested a quote and got a response from Mark setting up a time to call. When we talked, he was quick and seemed disinterested in my details, stated to send him an email with my measurements and details, as “gas is expensive” and he wasn’t going to come out and do measurements yet. He said if I sent measurements that I’d get a rough quote, if I liked that then he’d come out to do real measurements and get a quote going. We had a project that had been kicked down the road for many years. Finally we came to the decisionTo replace our cabinet doors and drawer faces as opposed to the entire cabinets, due to the corresponding wood trim throughout the kitchen and den. After looking locally and online, we chose Monticello Cabinet and Doors. We went with Maple Shaker cabinet doors and drawer faces.
