Easy to get to from Virginia on a weekday morning. Reception check-in was easy. They took me in for my appointment a minute early. Nurse was amazing and nice. The doctor was thorough, spent lots of time with me. Genuinely cared about my health and gave clear explanations of everything. Out of all of the health care experiences I’ve had( 21 yrs of Active Army MTFs, Embassy health units, private sector, VA); the VA has always been the most pleasant. Experience at Montgomery County Community Based Was very disheartening. I came in to receive help with my recorded diagnosis of PTSD. I was waved in by a women who wrote her name after asking for it three times Charity Russell. She ask me was I suicidal, I told her no. She then ask me in the open hall way amongst people “what do I want” I stated that I was recommended to come her for my mental health symptoms.
