I’ve NEVER been to a county fair or state fair with everything CLOSED on a Saturday. We visited from DC and wanted to see all of the offerings. Most things were closed on Saturday for judging. What? …and why? I would imagine that if they wanted to drive attendance from far and wide, having the full draw on a Saturday would be the optimal plan. Note - parking was $20 and entrance fees were almost $40 for two of us. (No senior discount, no military discount) It’s cheaper yo go to the Texas state fair to see MUCH more.
