When I first moved to Voorhees I found her through my insurance. So much husband and I figured why not. She seemed nice enough. Well we were wrong. She is dismissive, arrogant and does not listen to you when you have a true concern. Her staff however is nice to deal with - not Montgomery.
Dr. Montgomery is very direct and will sometimes ramble about her personal life, which can be somewhat frustrating. But my biggest gripe is with how her office is run. I visited a couple of times and received bills through my insurance, which I was able to pay on their website via InstaMed. I paid both of them promptly and ever since, I have been receiving invoices and phone calls from Dr. Montgomery's office for MONTHS stating that I have a balance due. I work in the healthcare field and I am used to working with doctors who are truly dedicated to their crafts and expertise. Not this doctor. If you want free insults and sarcasm, then she is the doctor for you.
Felt like she over scheduled visits. Talked more than she listened. Reception staff was ever changing.
I found Dr. Montgomery to be a poor listener. She tends to fill the visit with a lot of talking but never really listened when I attempted to respond. Definitely over scheduled the amount of visits needed for my high-blood pressure and never really improved my situation. I had to suggest extending my prescription refills so that I wouldn't have to come to the office and pay a co-pay for a refill on a low-maintenance pill for high-blood pressure. Dr Montgomery is amazing but her receptionist KIM is horrible! She's very rude and condescending.
Saw her for a short time a few years ago. Was referred by a family member. After seeing her for a couple visits, that family member was told about my situation by the doctor without my permission. If you value confidentiality, look else where.
If you need a dr that judges you on your first visit?? - this is your dr!! If you need a dr that acuses you of lying and doesn't even know you? This is your dr- would not recommended if she was the last dr on earth!!
