This was not a shawarma.
Hands down the worst shawarma I’ve ever had.
I love Montfort chicken, the curried onions and garlic sauce are my absolute favourite but this location isn’t the best. Every time I come here they use a stale pita that breaks, the chicken is sitting in water and still looks dry somehow. They also don’t take the time to make your food look presentable, the last pita I had was broken in both ends and he didn’t bother to remake it or try to fix it, just a mess.The food is far better at other locations.

Monfort’s in Grimsby is always a fantastic experience, and the woman who works there deserves a special shoutout. She is genuinely incredible — warm, welcoming, and always goes above and beyond to make customers feel taken care of. Her kindness and energy make the whole place feel brighter, and she handles everything with so much professionalism and care.
