Flavors were good and presentation was beautiful, but dishes were unnecessarily greasy/fatty given the lovely produce and ingredients. Better menu descriptions might have helped avoid this disconnect from what we were expecting.
Each dish we selected was truly exquisite, presented with remarkable artistry, and incorporated locally sourced produce from their farm, highlighting unique Korean-inspired combinations. i just hate to leave poor reviews, but i just have to share how DISAPPOINTED we were tonight. The ambiance and service were just excellent, the drinks and wine selection superb, BUT... we ordered 6 dishes to get a feel of the quality of the new Chef's capacity. A surprisingly delicious experience! I wish I would’ve taken pictures of what we ordered. The crispy Shrimp mousse toast is to die for! Everything we ordered was absolutely fabulous. I will say that the service was just a bit on the slow side to actually get us our drinks after we ordered them but all in all, it’s my new favorite restaurant in Montecito now.
Nick is the guy. It was my girlfriend and I’s first time going there, and he took care of us. He gave us the best food recommendations and amazing service. Thank you Nick, we will be back just because of you 🙏
