I stopped visiting my relatives who live here because this place is a nightmare. There is no parking available My family members decided to move out due to the unlivable conditions of this place. Because this place is having financial distress and can’t keep up with repairs and upgrades and anything else tenants are suffering big time by loosing their deposit and then some. About a month ago, our townhome at Monterra flooded due to a construction-related water main break. I live here with my husband and our two roommates, and since then, our entire lower level — including the living room, half bath, kitchen, dining area, and garage — has been completely unusable. While the flood itself wasn’t Monterra’s fault, the way management has handled everything since has been incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. Don’t live here. Management has done nothing to make me feel comfortable or secure after my home has flooded. No emails no phone calls and nothing concrete.
I stopped visiting my relatives who live here because this place is a nightmare. There is no parking available—ever. Getting in and out of the complex feels dangerous with fast-moving traffic on Federal Way, poor visibility from overgrown trees, and constant risk of hitting pedestrians, cyclists, or scooters on the bike path. Inside, the apartments are poorly maintained—no kitchen cabinet or counter space, dishwashers rarely work, and “repairs” are cheap patches that break again. Fairly good place to live! I lived in one of the renovated units and was happy with it. Complex was generally quiet and parking was plentiful. Isabel is the sweetest and helped me so much through any questions I had and the move out process. Love her!
