MPH charged me $99 for a technician visit who failed to detect the problem of my furnace, gave me the wrong diagnostics, and tried to sell me an expensive furnace that I did not need: My old furnace stopped working. Their technician came, checked it and said that the valve was broken, and he was unsure if he could find another valve so I may need a new furnace. (He estimated a new valve installment was $500). This company does a terrible job with sloppy workmanship, not obtaining a permit or doing the promised leak test for the new high-efficiency heater until I filed a complaint with the CA contractors licensing board. The thermostat wire they installed shorted and caused dangerous gas smell from the new heater, a potential fire hazard situation, but the business owner would not respond to the urgent calls, apparently caring only about his dinner. I had to have PG&E come for emergency evaluation, and hire a reputable HVAC compan... read more
We've used MPH on four projects over the last 5 years and the guys are great. They're responsive, the prices are fair and reasonable, and they do good work. As we continue to develop and remodel homes, we'll continue calling on Richard and the team to get the job done.
