Needs a good cleaning - it looks the renovations were nice at one time but has fast run down. Fine for a night.
The Monterey Motel opened in 1946 on old Route 66 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, now Central Avenue.
If you have been following my reviews along 66... Then you should probably get a hobby. But more importantly, you should stay here because its great, clean, spacious and the owners are wonderful!

Overall good quality room for the price. Stayed here on our way across rte 66.

Room 2 has 2 queens and a sleeper sofa if you have more than 4 people.
Large clean rooms for a great price. 2 blocks for Old Town.
