Dr. Verlenden was amazing with my 13 year old daughter. She had sudden acute inflammation of her appendix on the weekend, in the middle of the night. He is extremely professional, excellent at explaining the procedure and had wonderful bedside manner. In an unpleasant situation, we were so blessed he was our attending surgeon.
Kind manner, skilled surgeon, 2 1/2 hours on my leg, thank you for your skill, ability, energy, and care. Thank you for addressing years of pain.
Dr. Verlenden is a very experienced and talented Vascular Surgeon. He has a cheerful and reassuring manorism that makes me smile. I have seen him for a couple of issues: 1. Peripheral Vascular Disease. 2. For surgery - to have two troublesome growths removed from my upper back. A few years ago, for PVD he ordered an Ultrasound exam to check for blood clots.
