My wife was admitted at another location. That location said she needed to be transferred to here for an emergency surgery. They have her in the triage for 5 hours not being seen or taken care of. I had to tell her to stay because we already are in the process. We are told the surgery doctors are waiting to come down. This is ridiculous, I do not recommend. Today (April 29, 2026) I went to the Wakefield ER with a 1-year chipped tooth near the gumline, a swollen tear duct (eye doctor removed debris today and gave drops), facial numbness, ear pressure, whole-face redness that worsens after work, lightheadedness when standing, and a black eye starting to form.
