It is very strange to share a bathroom between 2 rooms. One side was men and the other side was women? The food was mostly fried. Response time was terrible after pushing the call button.
This place does not even deserve a 1 rating. My mother was transferred there from Banner Thunderbird Hospital just to get a little therapy after a hospital stay. She was only there a week until we could get her out of there. She was fed horrible mush food (she had no swallowing problems and wasn't tested for it either). Her dinners were not consistent, some 6pm some 9pm. She was not given water or drinks during the day. We had to go get her water while we were there. She was not bathed at all while there. My husband was a patient at Monticeto after a stroke and has diabetes.. The facility smelled of urine in some hallways. When visiting my husband I observed some staff who had no concept of taking pride in work or excellence. One nurse in particular, a tall male nurse who wears glasses, would disappear instead of taking or checking vitals, in my husband's case, checking blood sugar.
