I was new to Santa Barbara and wanted to establish a vet for my 1 year old puppy corgi back in July 2024. My corgi has never had issues with any of the 3 previous vets that we have been visiting in Orange County. On my first visit (and only visit) to Montecito Pet Hospital, Dr. Pearl rushed in to our room and immediately was being physical with my puppy. Went to this place for years and always had some random vet and never any consistency. It was OK and convenient. so i stayed with them. Then I missed an appointment and that I had in December. Instead of sending me a bill to my home they sent my no show fee to DEBT COLLECTION 6 weeks later. What a bunch of crooks. Hey. Send me a bill first. Never coming back here with my 3 dogs.
So disappointed in the service provided and treatment after. My dog is a retired K9 they wanted to put down the day we spent $1100 on radiographs for a broken paw we said we wanted to take her home So they sent us home with pain meds and told us to call for refills no appointment necessary. However the day I go in two weeks later they refuse to refill pain meds for my dog. From her radiographs we learned she has cancer they wanted to put her down that moment we said no we want her to fight she's got more life in her. They do... read more
Just awesome. Dr Waikart called me in the evening to follow up with some additional results when my cat had injested strings of a mask. Very thorough and an abundance of care and information for the pet owner. Will happy come back whenever my girl needs something.
