I had the unfortunate experience of being at Monte Nido. Do not do it. There was only one RC who really cared and treated me and the other patients like actual humans and understood what we were going through. The manager came out multiple times and kissed me on the cheek which was extremely uncomfortable, not to mention it happened multiple times. None of these instances had any consent or permission. If I had a loved one seeking residential treatment, I would refer them here. I can’t speak highly enough about how wonderful the staff were. The property is beautiful, it creates a homey environment for one to be able to focus on recovery and feel less like a patient in a hospital. The food is prepared by an on-site chef for the majority of the meals and snacks. Understaffed, undereducated on eating disorder recovery, not diverse, not inclusive, proper cleaning protocols aren’t followed, meal exceptions aren’t always honored. Do your research
I see montenido continuously hiring in canandigua, it is a shame that one bad apple allowed bullying others and ultimately, hurt the whole quality of business ongoing. It is shame for whole community to have a nurse in leadership with such a poor ethics in practice. Hopefully it works in outcome for nurse Theresa and Montenido. That nurse dislike me as I said I liked overnight nurse and did not open up to her. The next day I was told my insurance was denied to stay there.
