They do not respect confidentiality or patients rights. I did an assessment and stupidly gave them my therapist name but never signed an ROI or otherwise consented to my therapist being contacted. They decided (without talking to me about it) to call my therapist and tell her everything I said in the assessment. I feel like we are being discriminated against by monte Nido as my child has very serious ED issues and they won't accept her due to behavioral issues which any person with an ED is going to have these issues. My kid is sick and needs care and they are denying her when she is a good kiddo she just has her anger issues and that's all part of her ED.
Was denied admission over things that happened 3 years ago, including requesting gatorade for POTS, having special food made because I get severe mouth ulcers, and not getting proper GI care, because if I did, I wouldn't have been throwing up large quantities of food everyday. I was told the only place that would benefit me was a locked psychiatric inpatient unit.
